Album Info: | I recently had the unique opportunity to tour the Erie, PA Union Station. Built in 1927 by the famous New York Central architects Fellheimer and Wagner, the resemblances to the Buffalo Central Terminal in Buffalo, NY and the Cincinnati Union Terminal in Cincinnati, OH are very apparent. The building is still used by Amtrak which sees regular service. The building is also home to a restaurant, business offices, restaurants, and a microbrewery. The Erie Rail Museum is also housed inside the station. |
